Let's Get You Started
Follow these simple steps to make designing your system layout a breeze.
Step One: Determine the location of your outlets and compressor.
Clever planning starts here, take into consideration flow of production though your workplace, location of compressor to minimize dust ingress and noise disruption as well as ensuring heavy air usage/sensitive machines aren't starved.
Step Two: Determine the size of your pipe.
AIRnet aluminium pipe is available in sizes ranging from 20-158mm. The most common sizes are 25mm and 40mm. Outlets down each wall are generally done in 25mm. The difference in cost of 25mm compared to 20mm is minimal and there is a wider range of fittings and reducers between 25mm and 40mm than any other pipe sizes. Generally if the outlet of your compressor is 1" BSP or smaller, then a 25mm pipe size would suffice. If your compressor outlet is between 1" and 1.5" BSP then the 40mm pipe should work great.
